It's Jacaranda Festival time in Grafton! The trees are absolutely beautiful, and we are in a lovely quiet and shady park. The trees are full of birds and insects, the sun is delightfully warm and the intoxicating aroma of eucalyptus hangs in the air!

A welcomed detour to avoid the floods
Instead of Bathurst we have stopped in Cessnock on our way to Tamworth... it got wet, that's for sure, but it's been lovely to enjoy a couple days resting and even getting the bikes in use... Bubbles, our first firepit on the trip and visits from BCA friends has made Cessnock even better!

Travel day 1
Travel day was WET. And I mean WET. Water over the roads! Flooding closing roads! Unexpected detours adding to our trip and really bad fuel economy... we hope that changes.
